Ms. Yuen Yuk-lan, the principal of Catholic Ming Yuen Secondary School, is an avid reader who seeks inspiration from acquiring new knowledge. “A book is a journey of knowledge. As I travel between these worlds of knowledge, I harness the power of change.” She is an advocate of sustainable learning for the teachers at her school, as she believes that it is only through making changes that students and schools can grow in a sustainable way. Like a comprehensive reference book, JCDM’s “Differentiated Instruction Inventory” (DI Inventory) has offered Ms. Yuen and her team the power to make changes and to travel far and wide. Mr. Eddie Lam, the principal of Tseung Kwan O Methodist Primary School, spends his spare time running and gets a lot of inspiration from it. “Every single breath, every drop of sweat, every step taken, symbolises perseverance.” As an educator, he believes that his role is to uncover various race tracks for his team and students so that they are able to stay persistent and never give up.
