計劃透過各中、小學的參與，成功建立以學生為本的校本數據平台、適異教學─策略概覽 (DI inventory) 、課堂教學示例及課堂支援模式，提升學校照顧學生的個別差異及發展多元的學習目標等。計劃團隊期望能與各位教育同仁在賽馬會「校本多元」計劃第二期（2021-2024）中，一起探索如何更有效地透過學生數據、適異教學及學生學習支援，強化校本「多元管理」系統，為學生的學習多樣性提出適切及個別化的支援。
Webinar Review: Exploring “Diversity Management” (DM)
On September 30th, Jockey Club “Diversity at Schools” Project (JCDM) hosted the webinar Exploring “Diversity Management” (DM): Embracing Learner Diversity through School-based Infrastructure. In the webinar, the principal of Hong Kong Red Swastika Society Tai Po Secondary School and the project lead of JCDM, Mr. Franky Poon, shared with more than 250 participants about the accomplishments and impacts of JCDM in its first phase (2018-2021), as well as introduced the course of development for the project’s second phase (2021-2024) which spans the next three years.
In Phase I, with the help of primary and secondary schools, JCDM successfully established 1) a school-based Data Management Platform (DMP), 2) an inventory of Differentiated Instruction strategies (DI inventory) with clips of classroom demonstration, and 3) a classroom learning support unit, which are all learner-focused and aimed at promoting and catering for learner diversity. In Phase II, the JCDM team hope that fellow educators would explore with us the consolidation of school-based “Diversity Management” infrastructure through even more effective use of student data, differentiated instruction, and learning support, so as to provide appropriate and customized support for learner diversity.
