誠邀參與「展析多元」分享會 

隨著資訊科技的發展,大數據(Big data)早已應用於不同的界別。在教育界,學校及老師可以利用學生數據來了解及支援學生的不同學習需要。為達到此長遠目標,賽馬會「校本多元」計劃的「展析多元」團隊自2018年開始,與學校及老師緊密協作,共同開發了以學生為中心的「學生數據管理平台」(DM Student Data Management Platform,簡稱DM Platform 或DMP)。現來函邀請參與「展析多元」分享會。

分享會中,計劃統籌潘啟祥校長將與參加者分享賽馬會「校本多元」計劃第一期(2018-2021)的成效及影響。「展析多元」團隊亦會介紹「學生數據管理平台」的功能,探討如何有效地透過學生數據展析學習多樣性,並分享應用及實踐經驗。「展析多元」團隊期望能與教育同仁一起探索如何優化「展析多元」數據平台,幫助老師全面瞭解學生的學習多樣性,進而提出更加適切及個別化的支援。

Invitation to join “Profiling Diversity” Workshop

Dear principals and teachers,

You are cordially invited to attend JCDM’s “Profiling Diversity” Workshop on December 15 (3pm-4:45pm), via Zoom or in person at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

The use of big data has seen its decades-long application across industries. In education, big data analytics allows schools and teachers to not only understand students’ needs but also support these needs. With this objective in mind, JCDM’s “Profiling Diversity” team has worked closely with project schools since 2018 to develop a school-based Data Management Platform (DM Platform, or DMP).

In the upcoming workshop, our Project Lead, Franky Poon, will share with fellow educators the project outcomes and impacts of Phase I (2018-2021). The “Profiling Diversity” team will also introduce what DMP is capable of doing, discuss how to use DMP effectively to cater for learner diversity, and share user experience. In the hopes of facilitating teachers’ understanding of learner diversity and ways to provide students with customised support, the JCDM team would like to work in joint efforts with schools and teachers in the refinement of the project’s data profiling system.
